Common problems with Ricoh printers
Scan to folder stops working
Scanning to a shared folder usually breaks after the Windows account password changes, the PC's name or IP address changes, or the folder's sharing settings change. Update the saved path, user name and password in the device's address book entry, and confirm the folder is still shared.

Many Ricoh devices are set up with user codes or locked print, so jobs don't print until you enter a code in the driver or sign in at the device. If jobs vanish or wait, check the authentication or user code settings in the driver's printing preferences.

Ricoh multifunction devices report some hardware faults with SC (service call) codes. Turn the device off and on once; if the code returns, note it exactly and check your service agreement or Ricoh's official support resources.
Printer offline after a network change
If a Ricoh device shows offline after a router or network change, its IP address may have changed. Print a configuration page to see the current address and update the printer port on your computers.

Common questions
Is this site affiliated with Ricoh?
No. This is an independent help site with no connection to Ricoh. For official drivers, manuals and support, use Ricoh's official support site.
Why don’t my prints come out until I log in at the copier?
The device is probably set up for locked or secure print, which holds jobs until you enter a code or sign in at the machine. This keeps confidential documents from sitting in the output tray.
Where do I find a driver for my Ricoh device?
Use Ricoh's official support site, search for your exact model and choose your operating system. Universal drivers are also available for many models.
