Common questions
Where do I find the page yield?
On the cartridge box or the manufacturer’s product page. It’s usually an ISO yield, measured with pages that are about 5% covered. Pages with photos or heavy graphics use much more.
Are high-yield (XL) cartridges worth it?
Usually, if you print regularly. They cost more up front but often bring the cost per page down a lot. Enter both versions here to compare.
What about ink subscriptions?
Subscriptions charge per page or per month rather than per cartridge. Divide the monthly fee by the pages included to get a cost per page, then compare it here.
