Common problems with Konica Minolta printers
Service agreements and dealers
Most bizhub devices are leased or covered by a service contract that includes repairs and often toner. Before ordering supplies or requesting a repair, check the agreement and the contact details your organization was given. A label on the device often shows its serial or equipment number, which you'll need for any service request.
Jobs rejected or held by account codes
Many bizhub devices are set up with account tracking or user authentication, so jobs may be held or never print if the driver doesn't send a valid department code or user name. In the driver's printing preferences, look for the authentication or account settings and enter the details your administrator gave you.

bizhub devices often scan straight to shared folders on a PC or server. Failures usually follow a password change, a new PC name or IP address, or a change in Windows sharing settings. Update the address book entry with the current path, user name and password, and check with your administrator that the device's file-sharing settings match what the computer requires.

Konica Minolta offers model-specific drivers and a universal driver that covers many models. If finishing options, trays or authentication settings are missing, install the driver for your exact model from the official site for your country and turn on the installed options in the driver's properties.

bizhub devices warn separately about toner, imaging or drum units and the waste toner box. Replace the item the message names with the part listed for your model, or check whether your service agreement covers it. A gray tint or repeating marks on prints can mean a drum or imaging unit is wearing out.
